WineDirect
Brett led this project during his 17-year tenure as Thinkso’s founder and executive creative director.
We helped WineDirect, experts in direct-to-consumer marketing and fulfillment services for wineries, to consolidate disparate business functions and brand identities, and roll out a new visual identity, messaging strategy, and website. As a result, WineDirect was able to reassert itself as the industry leader and better connect with clients and prospects.

While the logo is just one touchpoint within the system, the elegance with which it was executed is emblematic of the entire package. The line between the D and I complete the picture of a wineglass. Likewise, WineDirect is the single link between wineries and their customers.

The ease and simplicity of the logo treatment mirrors WineDirect’s streamlined business model.

We architected, designed, and wrote a website for WineDirect that embodies its new client-first positioning. It features the “DTC Advisor,” a wizard that diagnoses what a winery needs to effectively sell directly to consumers, depending on where they are in the process.

We designed ads that visually link WineDirect’s expertise in both technology and wine sales while making a simple statement about its end-to-end solutions.

To introduce the new branding and messaging, we created a mailer that highlighted WineDirect’s value proposition while articulating the company’s commitment to its clients’ success.
By establishing clear brand guidelines and a finite, disciplined set of templates, we strengthened and streamlined WineDirect’s thought leadership.

We designed a DTC trend report that gave WineDirect an effective way of packaging and distributing their data as a value-add for their winery clients.

The connected wineglass visual is featured in other wine-related graphic expressions.

We designed WineDirect’s new illustrations to complement every touchpoint of the direct-to-consumer experience, from the website and business cards to giveaways and packaging products.

Updated signage affixed to WineDirect’s Napa headquarters announced that there was a new WineDirect in town.
